ON the one hand, Pakistanis are advised to follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) to limit the spread of the deadly coronavirus, while on the other, they can be seen gathering in large numbers in the shape of political rallies and violating the government-mandated SOPs whenever a political leader decides to hold a public gathering.
If the cases of Covid-19 are surging, which, indeed, they are, then why are people being allowed to gather in such large numbers? This doesn’t make any sense.
The powers that be should take action and take it quick.
