SUKKUR: Four kidnapped women recovered

SUKKUR, Sept 27: Police have recovered four women in Machalo village, Mirpur Mathelo taluka, Ghotki district. The women were kidnapped from different areas of Punjab.

Mirpur Mathelo TPO Inayat Bhatti along with a heavy contingent of police conducted a raid on the village and freed the women.

They were identified as Shaista, 35, a resident of Toba Tek Singh; Naghma, 18, (Khanewal), Aasia (Okara) and Shumaila (Faisalabad).

The kidnappers escaped from the village.

The women said the accused used to criminally assault them and wanted to sell them.

They said the accused used to sell a woman from Rs50,000 to Rs100,000.
