Naseer tops in AFC course

LAHORE, Jan 19: Rana Naseer an assistant referee from Pakistan secured top position among 76 candidates in the Asian Football Confederation course for referees which concluded at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Jan 19, according to information received here Saturday.

A Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) spokesman said that from Pakistan two referees and three assistant referees attended the course and all of them have been included in the FIFA Panel of referees after passing the said course.

Besides Rana Naseer the other two assistant referees are Muhammad Salim Khan and Hadayatullah while Jahangir Khan and Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah are the two referees
