SAHIWAL, Sept 25: Sahiwal police arrested 28 proclaimed offenders during a general hold up here on Saturday night. Among the arrested were Muhammad Hanif, Mahboob, Gulab Anwar and Irfan. They were wanted in heinous crimes. Around 18 court absconders, three army deserters and two drunkards — Iqbal and Nadeem — were also arrested.

Police also recovered weapons from the suspects.
