Published September 26, 2005

KARACHI, Sept 25: The NED University of Engineering and Technology, in a notice issued on Saturday, said that no political, religious or ethnic party/group was either allowed to function in the varsity or arrange any programme within its premises. It shall not be held responsible for any programme/function arranged by anyone outside the varsity, it further stated.

It said that it reserved the right to take legal action, if its name was used for any such programme. It reiterated its commitment to continue working for the welfare of its students and arranging the programmes for their positive activities.—PPI
