RAWALPINDI: A man, who allegedly harassed a lady health worker in Jatli, was overpowered by villagers who forcefully shaved his head and cut his moustache before handing him over to the local police on Monday.

Police said the health worker was on duty at the rural health centre in Daultala for the polio immunisation campaign on Monday when Irfan alias Fani harassed her and used obnoxious language against her.

She further alleged that she was pulled and beaten by him, however, villagers gathered at the scene and overpowered him.

The man was allegedly beaten too. Police registered an FIR against him.
