LAHORE: Cash prizes worth Rs9 million will be at stake in the upcoming National T20 Cup First XI tournament, which starts at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Sept 30.

The victorious side of the six-team event will earn Rs5 million while the runners-up will get half of it. A cash prize of Rs100,000 will be given each to the best bowler, batsman and wicket-keeper of the tournament. Man-of-the-match of every game will earn Rs25,000.

An award of Rs35,000 has been earmarked for the man-of-the-match of the final to be held on Oct 18 in Rawalpindi, the venue of the event’s second round which begins on Oct 9.
