Parking of water tankers banned

DIG Traffic Karachi Javed Ali Mahar on Tuesday declared that parking of water bowsers would not be allowed at important traffic points of Hino Chowrangi, Korangi Crossing and other routes as these heavy vehicles contributed to traffic jams on main arteries. During his visit to the said areas, Mr Mahar added that encroachments were also contributory factors behind traffic jams and directed for deployment of suitable traffic police staff at such points to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
