QUETTA: Levies Force personnel recovered five polio workers hours after they were kidnapped from the Kohlu area on Monday.

Security officials said Sher Ali, Abdul Khaliq, Qurban Ali, Karam Khan and Humayun Khan had been kidnapped by armed men when they were administering polio vaccine drops to children in the morning on the outskirts of Kohlu town.

Soon after receiving information about the incident, members of the Levies Force launched a search operation and recovered the kidnapped polio workers from a place near Kohlu town. No further details were immediately available.
