LAHORE: Revolutionary poet Habib Jalib’s son Nasir Jalib passed away in Lahore after a protracted illness. He was 55.
Nasir Jalib used to hold reference on his father’s death anniversary. He also wrote a book Rudad-i-Wafa on the struggle and life of his father.
According to his sister Tahira Jalib, Nasir had been on dialysis for the last five or six months. He breathed his last at a private hospital on Sunday. His funeral will be held after Zuhr prayers at Awasia Mosque, Mansoora.
Nasir was the eldest son of Habib Jalib. He did graduation from Shah Hussain College and also worked with the National Bank of Pakistan.
