SHEIKHUPURA: Two minor girls were allegedly raped in different parts of the district on Saturday.
The first incident took place in Rehman Garden locality in the area of Factory Area police .
The victim girl, the daughter of a labourer, was going to her home from the market when a man and his accomplice took her to an outhouse and gang-raped her before making an escape. Some passers-by, after hearing the victim’s cries, took her to her home.
The second incident occurred at village Bhekhi where a 10-year-old girl was raped by her neighbour.
The daughter of a labourer was alone at her home when the rapist scaled the wall to enter the house and raped the girl at gunpoint. Police, on report of the victim’s father, have started a probe.
