MANSEHRA: Two American nationals sustained injuries when a pickup vehicle plunged into a deep ravine in Chitta Batta area here on Wednesday.

“We rushed to the scene and shifted the injured Americans to the hospital,” Amir Khadam, a spokesman of Rescue 1122, told reporters after the incident.

Gargein, 45, and Yarga, 60, were on their way to Kaghan valley on a recreational tour when one of them driving the vehicle lost control over the steering while negotiating a sharp turn, and as a result, it skidded off the Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad Road and plunged into a ravine.

The locals and officials of Rescue 1122 shifted both of them to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital, where condition of them was stated to be out of danger.
