Robert Pattinson is Covid-19 positive

Production on The Batman starring Robert Pattinson has been put on hold in the UK after a crew member tested positive for Covid-19; and later, it was confirmed that Pattinson too tested positive.

“Filming is temporarily paused,” a spokesperson for Warner Bros. Pictures said in a statement.

The Batman, from director Matt Reeves, is set to arrive in theatres on October 1, 2021, pushed back from its original June 25, 2021 release date because of the pandemic.

Pattinson’s Batman will be joined by Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Paul Dano as The Riddler and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon.


Ben 10 vs The Universe’ lands in October

Ben Tennyson is back on the alien-fighting scene, as Warner Bros. Home Entertainment releases Ben 10 vs. The Universe: The Movie, first on Cartoon Network on October 11 and on DVD October 27.

The alien-transforming kid hero has all-new powers on this intergalactic adventure, filled with action-packed bonus content including Animatics, exclusive to the DVD.

The movie will see a blast from Ben’s past returning to do double the damage on Team Tennyson and planet Earth, forcing Ben to go interstellar to save the day. Meanwhile, Gwen and Grandpa Max team up to help protect the world in Ben’s absence. But Ben is confused for the villain in space and must get back to Earth to help save it!

“After 15 successful years, the Ben 10 franchise continues to thrive around the world,” said Mary Ellen Thomas, WBHE Senior Vice President.


New documentary from BTS

South Korean boy band BTS has given a glimpse of the forthcoming documentary film Break the Silence: The Movie.

The teaser shows the members of BTS introduce themselves and explore the concept of the group’s “persona,”by telling the public about “the untold stories of BTS from on and off stage”.

Break the Silence, directed by Park Jun-soo, follows BTS on its 2019 Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour and features candid personal stories from the members.

Break the Silence will be released online and in theatres September 24 in the United States. The film is BTS’ fourth movie.
