Women’s soccer camp ends

LAHORE, Sept 21: The Punjab women football training camp for the first national championship ended at the Punjab Stadium on Wednesday. Led by Kiran Ilyas, the team will leave for Islamabad to take part in the national event scheduled to start on Friday. Shahzadi Erum and Abdul Hafeez are coaches of the team while Shahnaz Akhtar is manager.

Farheen Anwar (Faisalabad) is the vice-captain.

Other players in the squad are: Mariam Sheikh, Tehreem Iqbal, Salma Shaukat, Anna Danyal, Naeema Butt, Sobia Younus, (Lahore) Saima Yunus, Rafia Perveen, Rehana Javed, (Vehari) Shika Nazeer (Sharqipur), Fauzia (Sheikhupura), Ambreen (Jhelum), Nighat Naheed ( Faisalabad) and Khadija (Chichawatni).
