Child recovered

LAHORE, Sept 21: Police claimed on Wednesday to have recovered a minor and arrested three men, who had allegedly kidnapped the child for one million rupee ransom. Four-year-old Ali Ejaz had been kidnapped from his Nishat Colony house a couple of days ago and his kidnappers had demanded the money for his release.

Two police teams were set up to probe the crime. The team officials gathered evidence and recorded statements, that led to the arrests. The child was recovered in a raid at a house in Aalya Town, Shalamar.

The accused, Irfan alias Billu, Faryad Dogar and Sultan, were arrested while their two accomplices Ghulam Mustafa and Nisar managed their escape. — Staff Reporter
