QUETTA: Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani launched a special five-day polio vaccination campaign in Balochistan amid tight security on Monday.

Expressing serious concern over the rising number of polio cases in the province, the chief minister appealed to the parents and tribal elders to cooperate with the polio teams.

He said the success of the anti-polio campaign was not possible without the cooperation of people and civil society.
