LAHORE: Punjab reported 109 new patients of Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 94,586 so far.

Meanwhile, it has also reported four deaths due to the virus during the same period.

According to the official figures released by the primary & secondary health department here on Tuesday, of the new cases most of them (55) were reported in Lahore.

The total number of confirmed cases has reached 47,983 in Lahore so far. Other cases were reported from Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Multan, Khanewal, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang etc.

The official figures stated that the total number of deaths in Punjab reached 2,174, including 834, in Lahore.
