ISLAMABAD: The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan has proposed amendments to Securities and Futures Advisers (Licencing & Operations) Regulations 2017 to broaden investor base and enhance outreach of capital market.
It has proposed to allow individuals to act as securities and futures advisers and to act as distributor of units of mutual funds of multiple AMCs.
For reducing regulatory burden on companies, the requirement of experience of CEO/or head of its advisory services has been cut to three years from five years.
