Tariq-Ameer win

KARACHI, Sept 17: Tariq Zafar and Syed Ameer Hasan from North-South direction scored 61.89 percent for the prime honour in a weekend Bridge Mitchel Pairs organised by Karachi Bridge Association on Friday.

Hamid Mohiuddin-Zainullah Baig finished runners up with a score of 56.82 percent giving excellent display of artistry. FA Faheem-Khalid Zaki stood in third position with score of 56.14 percent.

Meanwhile, Anwer Kamal-Saleem Ahmed scored 58.64 to claim the first position from East-West direction. They defended beautifully and earned five top scores by their skilful dummy play. There was a very close contest for the second and third berths.—PPI
