Six rockets found

BANNU, Sept 17: Police thwarted a sabotage attempt when they found six rockets, batteries and detonators near the Baran bridge here on Friday. The rockets were installed on launchers and were ready to be fired when a police party of the Cantonment police station found the explosives and sought the help of a bomb disposal squad.

Members of the squad defused the rockets.

The rockets were planted near a school in the Baran area.
