KARACHI, Sept 17: Eight ships, including Fu Zhou carrying 152,000 tons of sugar, are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Ocean Island, Apollon to unload urea and DAP fertilizer, Sea Brianlance, to offload steel cargo, Matina and Jipro Dream, to unload tallow, Bumwoo, to unload palm oil, were berthed after the departure of 10.

The vessels, which departed included Corin Thiakos, Sinar Bontang, Y.M. Fortune, Y.M. Faha, Kota Tabah, Wisdom-C, Sea Luck, Manila Star, Ariston and Shalamar, while Bum Woo, Persia and Jipro Dream are due to sail out on Sunday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 61,008 tons comprising 7,341 tons of export cargo and 53,667 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Sunday: Fu Zhou, with 15,200 tons of sugar, Mastery, with 4,000 tons of palm oil, Johar, with 67,000 tons of crude oil, Sagamore, Maersk Arizona, Iran Shaharyar, Itah Bum, with containers and Puma, to load general cargo.

The following ships are due on Monday: Asian Trader, Bunga Delima, Hanjin Budden and Dong He, with containers, Morning Sky, with 40,920 tons of DAP fertilizer, and Rangani, with 6,000 tons of project cargo.
