Judo: Talib earns third gold for Army

LAHORE, Sept 16: Talib Hussain of Army claimed a gold medal in the 100kg weight category of the national judo ranking championships on Friday. Talib’s victory gave Army its third gold in the competition in which Wapda with five gold are leading.

Talib,used both his experience and skills to win all five bouts in which he competed. In all, 15 bouts were held. Gulzar also of Army snatched a silver while Ashraf Ali of Wapda grabbed a Bronze.

The last competition of Open weight class will be held on Sunday.
