SIALKOT: A married woman was tortured to death allegedly by her husband and in-laws at village Kandan Sayyan of Daska on Friday.
According to the first information report, Naveed Sabir, his brothers Zafar Iqbal, Amjad Hussain and Tajamal Hussain and sister-in-law Sajida Bibi quarreled with Sadia for not bringing money from her parents. Later, they tortured her physically so severely that she died of it. She was a mother of three minor children.
Police handed over the body to Sadia’s parents after autopsy and claimed that they had arrested the suspect nominated in the case.
