GUJRAT: Two minor girls of a family died when the roof of their house suddenly caved in at Kakowal village of Mandi Bahauddin district on Thursday.

Reports said that the roof of Farhat’s house was in a dilapidated condition and it caved in as a result of which his two daughters Amna, 5, and one-year old Beenish were buried under the rubble.

Rescue 1122 officials reached the spot and shifted both the injured to hospital where they succumbed to the injuries.

Meanwhile, a brick kiln worker, Yar Muhammad, was killed when a vehicle hit his donkey cart carrying bricks to supply somewhere near Kathiala Sheikhan along Mandi Bahauddin.
