Pakistan has recorded 8,929 recovered cases over the past 24 hours, taking the tally up to 113,623, the government's Covid-19 portal said.
So far 51.2 per cent of the novel coronavirus patients in the country have recovered. According to the government's figures, 2,479 people are in critical condition.
The bulk of recoveries lies in Sindh, where 49,926 patients have reported to have recovered from the virus. With 33,786, Punjab has the second-highest number of recoveries.
