ICAP president

KARACHI, Sept 14: Syed Mohammad Shabbar Zaidi was elected president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) for 2005-06. A press release issued by ICAP stated that the 174th meeting of the Council of ICAP held on Monday also elected Ahmad Saeed as vice-president (South) and Imran Afzal as vice-president (North). The newly-elected president was stated to be a fellow member of ICAP, who has been with A.F. Ferguson & Co., Chartered Accountants, since 1984 and is a partner in the firm.
