INDIA’s election to the United Nations Security Council as a non-permanent member is a distortion of justice and a mockery of international law. When a representative of the fascist Bharatiya Janata Party will be sitting on the Security Council in January 2021, Indian occupation forces’ hands would be drenched in the blood of Kashmiris.

With India’s entry into the SC, the international order will fray further.

The world is slowly moving towards anarchy because the worst violator of human rights and an enemy of peace has been given a seat in prestigious multilateral forum like the Security Council.

This is blatant violation of international norms of morality. A regime which has left no stone unturned to suppress the legitimate voice of innocent Kashmiris is awarded a seat on the forum whose mandate is to bring peace to the world. How can the violators of peace bring peace to the world?

A country notorious for its chicanery and human rights violation, and persecution of minorities needs to be sanctioned and not rewarded with a seat in the Security Council.
