KARACHI: The convocation and graduation ceremony of the 33rd Air War Course at the Air War College of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) was held here on Thursday.
Addressing the graduating officers, Vice Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Ahmer Shehzad, the chief guest, said that the officers must be aware of the contemporary geopolitical and strategic environment as it would have a deep influence on the overall security calculus. “Its sound understanding would also facilitate better preparedness and timely response to emerging threats,” he added.
“In the South Asia context, the situation in India-occupied Kashmir and the emerging developments between China and India are precarious for the region,” he further said.
“In today’s warfare, both conventional and unconventional, no service could achieve success single-handedly.”
