England regain Ashes after 18 years

LONDON, Sept 12: England regained the Ashes for the first time in 18 years here on Monday after drawing the fifth and final Test with Australia. England won the series 2-1.

South African-born batsman Kevin Pietersen was England’s hero on the final day as he made 158 — his maiden Test century — in their second innings total of 335 all out.
