Sports complex for Gilgit, Skardu

GILGIT, Sept 12: Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) will construct sports complex in Gilgit and Skardu for the promotion of sports activities in the region. Both the complexes would cost Rs 30 million each and the work on sports complex in Skardu has been started.

The sports complexes would house two multipurpose halls, administrative block, two basketball courts, two volleyball courts, swimng pool, hockey stadium, and athletes treks. In Gilgit the complex is being constructed along the Lalik Jan Shaheed Stadium which will also be expanded.

A polo stadium will also be constructed in the city which is included in PC1.—APP
