ISLAMABAD, Sept 12: The Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) and the All Pakistan Newspapers Employees Confederation (Apnec) will observe a protest day with the cooperation of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) on October 3 against the non-implementation of the 7th wage award, says a press release.

This was decided in a joint meeting of the federal executive council of the PFUJ and the national executive committee of Apnec held from September 9 to 11 in Abbottabad. A press release says the meeting also decided that the protest campaign will start from September 22 in Rawalpindi.
