Taking serious notice of the situation, the adviser asked municipal administration especially TMOs to get the city cleaned within two days to facilitate smooth flow of traffic. He asked officials to use machines for pumping out rainwater and clean storm drains and nullahs on emergency basis to ensure fast draining. He also asked them to hire pumping machines on rental basis if they were not available with the TMOs.

The adviser directed EDO Works and Services to adopt a line of action on immediate basis for the removal of rainwater.
