NEW DELHI, Sept 12: The 12-day joint exercises of Indo-US Navies, called ‘SALVEX’, began off Kochi on Monday with the commencement of the harbour phase of exercises.
As part of this phase, training and professional discussions between the two navies would be held, said a news report received here. The exercise, which will focus on diving and salvage operations, will continue till September 23, naval sources were quoted as saying.—APP
