MUZAFFARGARH: Police claimed on Saturday to have arrested a man who raped and killed his employer’s six-year-old son.

District Police Officer Syed Nadeem Abbas said Abdul Hadi went missing from his house on May 25. His father Abdul Sattar frantically searched for the child and found his body.

The family complained to the Daira Din Pannah police who registered a case against unidentified suspects.

The DPO constituted a team led by Kot Addu DSP Syed Ejaz Bukhari to trace the perpetrators and police finally arrested suspect Tahir Shah who worked as servant at Sattar’s house. He confessed to killing the child after raping him.
