Sindh has reported its highest-single day jump as a record 1,247 new coronavirus cases were confirmed during the last 24 hours, according to Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

The province has also reported the highest single-day death toll of any province so far after 38 people died of the virus. The total number of fatalities has risen to 465.

The chief minister said that 310 people are in critical condition while 522 more people have recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.
