Machinery stolen

KHAIRPUR, Oct 4: The machinery of the Sindh Small Industries Corporation (SSIC) worth over Rs400,000 was stolen from the premises of the police training centre here on Thursday.

The SSIC district officer, Mohammad Ali Shaikh, has lodged an FIR with B-section police, and said the SSIC machinery kept inside the police training centre had been stolen.

The premises were declared the industrial area of Khairpur, but later the training centre was established there.

ELECTROCUTED: A woman, Mandam Phulpoto, was electrocuted and killed on Wednesday night in the Faizabad colony when she turned on a television.
