TAXILA: As many as 19 suspects were arrested during three different strikes in Attock and Wah Saddar police station limits on Saturday.

According to police spokesman, City police station SHO Sub Inspector Hamid Kazmi launched a crackdown on kite sellers and arrested three persons including two women involved in illegal trade of kites.

Police also seized 2,585 kites from their possession.

Separately Rangoo Police raided at a gambling den and caught 14 gambling.

Stake money, cell phones, motorcycles and gambling tools worth Rs200,000 were also seized.

Wah Saddar Police led by SHO Mohammad Rafeeq arrested two proclaimed offenders and sent them behind bars after registration of cases by the respective police.
