3 petrol pump employees shot dead

SUKKUR, Sept 7: Three employees of a petrol pump were killed when unidentified armed men opened fire at a car here on Wednesday morning. Two passers-by also received bullet injuries. The cause of the killings could not be ascertained till the filing of this report. No arrest has been made. The deceased were manager, driver and guard.

According to the police, Riaz Ahmed Samejo, manager of the Taj petrol pump, Ahmed Ali, guard, and driver Mohammad Akram, were coming from a bank in a car AEH-582. A Margalla car reached the spot and opened fire on them. The guard also opened fire in retaliation.

The armed men later surrounded the car and killed all the three occupants on the spot. Two passers-by, Allah Wasayo and Mohammad Saleh Malik, were also injured seriously in the firing and were shifted to the taluka hospital, Rohri.
