Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has appealed to citizens to stay at home as much as possible even as the province moves towards easing lockdown measures imposed to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

Speaking at a press conference in Karachi, he said: "If you are allowed to leave your homes, according to the directives issued by the government, then make sure to follow standard operating procedures. Wear a mask."

He also urged citizens to take extra care when they are around the elderly, who are more susceptible to the disease.
