RAWALPINDI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is continuing its relief flight operation as 178 Pakistanis, stranded in South Korea and Amsterdam arrived via two special fights at Islamabad International Airport (IIA) on Wednesday.

Upon arrival, all passengers and crew members were scanned by the medical staff and later shifted to different hotels for quarantine, under the supervision of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).

PIA’s first flight, PK-8873 carrying 132 passengers and 18 crew members arrived from Seoul at 10:41am. The second flight PK-8734, with 46 passengers and crew members on board arrived on Wednesday night. All passengers were scanned by health authorities and later shifted to hotels for quarantine.

Meanwhile, PIA flight PK-785, carrying 293 passengers departed for London from IIA on Wednesday, while another PIA flight PK-701 with 406 passengers on board departed for Manchester.
