Turkey distributes ration bags among 600 families in Punjab

Turkey's state-run aid agency has distributed ration bags to 600 families in Punjab, Anadolu Agency reported.

Some 300 ration bags were distributed in Lahore and another 300 were distributed among families in Mardan, said a statement by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).

"We will not leave our Pakistani brothers and sisters alone in this testing time," said Gokhan Umut, TIKA's Islamabad Coordinator. TIKA also distributed 50,000 surgical masks and food packages in, Umut added.

During Ramazan, the Turkish aid agency will distribute 2,500 food packages in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.
