560 new cases take Punjab's tally to 8,693

Punjab's Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department has reported 560 new coronavirus cases taking the provincial tally to 8,693.

Twelve new deaths have also been reported, taking the total fatalities to 156.

According to the department, 3,086 people have recovered from the virus while 25 are in critical condition. Some 106,927 tests have been conducted in the province so far.
