Six more people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Sindh's Matiari district, bringing the total to 14.
All six of the patients had attended a luncheon hosted in honour of Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, who had visited the district on April 22 and had later tested positive for the virus.
According to Matiari Deputy Commissioner Ghulan Hyder Chandio, the test results of the patients came back on April 30 but were not shared with the district administration.
He added that all the patients were self-isolating at their homes but will be shifted to isolation centres established two kilometres away from Hala.
