The Sindh Home Department has allowed 35 export-oriented factories or manufacturing units to start their operations, subject to their adherence to the SOPs outlined by the government for industries to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

An order issued by the department said all 35 units, most of which are textile factories, will be required to provide the particulars of all staff members and management who will be present in the premises of the factory, in order to ensure "timely tracking and tracing" in case any employees contracts the virus.
