Over 5,000 individuals at risk of contracting Covid-19 from across the country have been identified by the government’s trace and track system.

Last week, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced that the government was using a tracking system that was originally developed by the intelligence agencies to combat terrorism.

“The Inter-Services Intelligence has given us a great system for track and trace,” he said during a live TV telethon. “It was originally used against terrorism, but now it has come in useful against coronavirus.”
