Yemen's internationally recognised government reported five new coronavirus cases amid warnings by health and aid organisations the pandemic could have dire consequences in the war-ravaged country, according to AFP.
So far, Yemen has been largely spared from the spread of the coronavirus, reporting only a single case in early April in the southern government-controlled province of Hadramawt.
But five new cases were reported in the southern city of Aden, the interim capital of the internationally recognised government.
