NAB files reference against official, others for salary fraud

QUETTA: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Balochistan, on Monday filed a reference against some employees of the District Accounts Office, Dera Allah Yar, and others for alleged corruption in accounts of the office.

According to NAB investigation, Mohammad Hashim, Assistant Computer Operator of District Accounts Office, Dera Allah Yar, allegedly in connivance with his accomplices, used to draw salary and the pension amount illegally by showing his wife, driver and others employees of different government departments.

Later, he would transfer the amount into his own several accounts.

NAB seized his all accounts, and after completing investigation into the case, filed a reference against seven accused, including Mohammad Hashim, under the Accountability and Anti-Money Laundering Act.
