More than 150 Italian doctors have died of the novel coronavirus since February, the FNOMCeO health association said, according to AFP.
The toll among doctors had reached 100 on April 9. The health association said it now stood at 151.
Italy's official death toll rose by 333 to 26,977. The country also reported 1,739 new infections, the lowest number since the first half of March.
