78 people have been arrested and 107 shops sealed in Quetta for violating a lockdown imposed to curb the spread of the coronavirus, Balochistan government spokesperson Liaquat Shahwani said.
A total of 2,707 shops have been sealed so far over violations, he added.
The country is confronting increasingly volatile weather patterns with consequences for agriculture, infrastructure, public health and economic planning.
