PML candidate for Peshawar nazim post

PESHAWAR, Sept 3: PML provincial information secretary MPA Nighat Yasmeen Aurakzai has been nominated as candidate by the Khushhal Pakistan Panel for the post of Peshawar district nazim.

The decision was taken at a meeting held at the PML secretariat here on Saturday, according to a press release.

The meeting was presided over by PML provincial president and Minister of State for Water and Power Amir Muqam Khan.

Mohammad Intikhab Khan, Arbab Ghulam Haider and Nighat Yaseem Aurakzai also attended the meeting.

The meeting also nominated Malik Niaz Advocate for the post of Town-1 nazim, Arbab Akber Hayat for Town-II, Arbab Ghulam Haider for Town-III and Dilawar Khan for Town-IV from the Khushhal Pakistan Panel.—APP
